Kimberly Jackson founded Kay Jay Collection several years ago in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. During her extensive travels throughout Asia, Sri Lanka and the Middle East, Kimberly was fascinated by the beauty of the countries and the legacy of the locals' handcrafted traditions.

"I am a designer at heart," Kimberly says, "drawn to color, works of art, patterns of design, and the unusual. I knew immediately that the unique textiles and tapestries embodied all the aspects of the visual art that I loved. I was inspired by these rich textures to import, design, sell and educate in the United States."

"I returned to Atlanta and could not stop thinking about the excitement I felt having discovered such historical beauty. It was from this passion that my company, Kay Jay Collection, evolved."
